Nat’s Story
Hi, my name is Natalie and welcome to my website Nat’s Loves Cooking!
I have lived a very colourful life working as a police officer, child protection manager, and currently as a registered nurse.
My first love, however, is cooking, especially Asian food and seafood.
I first began my love affair with cooking when I was a teenager when I spent my weekends helping my Father, who was a lock-up sergeant at a country police station, cooking for the prisoners.
Half the time, I think they only got themselves locked up to get a good feed, lol 😉
I then travelled as an exchange student to Thailand where my love of both travelling and Asian food began to flourish.
Why Nat Loves Cooking
Over the years my love of cooking has increased dramatically and I enjoy both cooking and catering for my family, work colleagues and parties.
A couple of years ago I even auditioned for MasterChef Australia and made the semi-finals of the WA signature dish.
But for a while, I have had this feeling that I wanted to share my love of cooking with the world.
I have often thought that I have missed my calling, but my family says that it is never too late!
So I have created this website to share my love of cooking with you all.
I want to share with you my cooking experiences, recipes, adventures, and passions for cooking, travelling and family. ?
I hope you enjoy the ride as much as I will.
And remember, the passion of cooking comes from the warmth of your heart!
